Unfortunately they just kept respawning so my poor mage could never get a teleport started. After about six of them I got tired of it and hit Hearthstone. When I arrived in Light's Hope Chapel, several guards there promptly attacked and killed me. I have yet to figure out why, and I'm not particularly interested in trying it again. I got an idea, I walked into the inn at westguard keep and spoke to the innkeeper, I clicked set as you new home but didn't click the confimation just yet, I began casting my hearthstone and in the tiny amount of time it takes between the cast to complete and it to start teleporting you I clicked the accept button, the loading screen popped up and I appeared in dalaran, I checked my hearthestone, but as I had hoped for it was set to Westguard Keep, something funny some of you guys might find useful.

Ultima Online had stones where you cast your spot and you can teleport but you use them up. What would happen if you were to toss your hearthstone? Would you get another one once you talk to an Innkeeper or are you screwed for any teleports of a hearthstone?
Comment by Aamunkajo Anyone else experiencing weird behaviour regarding stone and starting area inns? I have a newly created DK and I started doing all the quests on her starting from level 1. So I go to Kharanos, set the hearthstone to the inn there. Then I go to the dwarf starting area and do the quests.
Next time I log back to game, travel somewhere else and use the hearthstone, it is set to the dwarven starting point in Coldridge Valley, not Kharanos. And after I go do some quests in Ammen vale the draenei starting zone , the same HS that I reset to Kharanos brewfest time so why not , it is now pointing to Ammen vale.
I recommend replacing hearthstone with The Innkeeper's Daughter if you've gotten the dwarven archaeology toy, allowing you to delete your heartstone freeing up a bag space.
If you want to show off the animations from the different hearthstones, you can click 1, 2 or 3 and cancel the teleport just before it takes off. As long as you don't activate the teleport itself which takes 10 seconds to trigger minus your current haste-modifier , you can do the associated animations as many times you like in a row. Enjoy ;.
