Rolf stone fist however, is racist as he gets drunk and abuses the dunmer, which is wrong. Although, in riften, the dunmer and argonians seem to get along alright.
But maybe the windhelm government do not want to cause more trouble, considering they have a murderer on the loose. I definitely believe that Ulfric not renovating the grey quarter is justified considering his situation.
Yes as i have said Rolf is quite racist but again he is basically a drunk homeless man and has nothing to do with what goes on in the stormcloak army. Although some of Rolfs distrust is justified seeing as one dunmer in particular who hates nords with a passion is also an empire supporter and has imperial armour and weapons, but whatever.
The whole Ulfric not helping non-nords thing is sort of shaky seeing as Brunwulf is an empire supporter and probably dislikes the stormcloak rebellion so with potential bias and lack of any other information i am not quite sure what to believe in that situation. Tbh Windhelm just has the tension of years of hate of each other.
The only time these races got together was the 2nd era. Explore Wikis Community Central. Showing 1 - 5 of 5 comments. No, you had to cast Call to Arms instead, because that spell is smart enough to determine who is your ally and who isn't. Originally posted by Johnny Casey :. Originally posted by Malsvir Ixen :. Don't use Storm calling. That's a big no no, that shout is indiscriminate and hits everyone except you.
Infact the thalmor WANT the stormcloaks to rebel because it means a weaker empire as a whole. Divided the nations get obliterated. United they stand a chance. Ulfric is too bloody stupid to realize that, and just wanted to be a racist bigot loudmouth.
He could care less about you. The one imperial soldier apologized profusely about the officer, if anything the dragonborn should hold a grudge about ufric who could of at least said "hey that guys not with us". He just did not care!! So go ahead, side with the stormcloaks for your "independance". Imperials are simply biding their time, ulfric is just too proud to realize that and wants to cry like a baby. The total lack of trade and then iminent thalmor invasion will ruin everybody in skyrim if stormcloaks won.
Think what would happen if say, America and Russia go to war. Then china comes along and nukes BOTH after they finish and win.
Thats exactly how it would be like! Ulfric was gagged in the opening scenario you moron, otherwise he would have used the Thu'um, which he used to kill the High King, to escape.
There were more stormcloaks there then just Ulfric. And you call me a moron over this? Do you do that to everybody you disagree with in real life? There were other points in there you know? User Info: Ubergrim3. Because anyone with more than two working brain cells can see that the Stormcloaks are incredibly short-sighted. They abandon the Empire they helped found and support for hundreds of years as soon as things aren't going perfectly? That's the very definition of dishonorable.
Alvor said it best: "The Nords have never been fair-weather friends! Ulfric is a jerk. Straight up. Dude's just plain not cool. Even if you agree one hundred percent with his jingoistic nationalism, he's still a jerk. At one point, he delivers what seems to be a very heartfelt and passionate speech about his motivations the I Fight Because speech , until you realize that he's practicing. He delivered that speech to basically an empty throne room and an audience consisting of his seneschal, his chief advisor, and the Dragonborn.
That's when you really start to get the idea that basically everything about Ulfric is politically calculated and his later dialogue after capturing Solitude more or less confirms it. Like x 5 Agree x 4. I have a hard time of it. Elder Scrolls games have hardwired me to support the Empire, the fact that I'm never a nord plays into the decision as well.
The Empire in The Elder Scrolls games has always gone a good way to avoid "the evil empire" tropes common in popular fantasy and science fiction. They're a civilizing body, respectful of their client cultures to a point , that promotes equality to all citizens. Though, it occasionally steps on a few toes. The Empire recognizes orcs, khajiit and argonians as equals and citizens, not as slaves and monsters. The Thalmor dossiers shed a bit of suspicion on Ulfric Stormcloak.
In addition to that, he seems a power-hungry demagogue, to me. I don't believe he has the interest of Skyrim and her people at heart, rather of Ulfric and his ego. Agree x 7. Docta Corvina Well-Known Member. Agree x 1. Like x 5 Winner x 3 Funny x 2. Like x 1 Winner x 1. Agree x 1 Disagree x 1.
