From an outside viewer, that only watches occasionally, Hollie was the best last week in my opinion I think Elise should be there over all 4 of them, Skylar She did too much.
I think she was the best the week before too. It's not very often that I dislike a contestant on AI Jacob from last season may be the only other one , but there was something about her that I couldn't stand! What are you talking about? Elise kept it real. May 7, - am. This season started to slip away when Elise went home but it's completely farcical now.
Hollie and Skylar had no business being in the Bottom 2 last week. Hollie goes home this week with either Joshua or Jessica joining him in the Bottom 2 because someone has to and people are madly in love with WGWG5 for reasons I will never know. So that tells me either there is a massive trend away from people voting by phone, or there's some rigging going on.
May 7, - pm. It tracks both numbers for each contestant separately and combines them for a score but I still think the trend is moving away from dialing and either texting or voting online. That said, I do agree that there are more people texting and voting online than ever before. I'm guessing the teenie bopper girls are texting and voting online for Jessica and Phillip.
Idk who is voting for Joshua I would think they would be dialing, which I would think Hollie would get more votes than him, since she is better. I do think some rigging is going on in favor of Joshua. I lost interest very fast this season. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of any of the contestants or nobody stands out. Well, maybe Phillip and Jessica. But seriously! What the heck does Hollie who was fabulous last night have to do to avoid being close to elimination each week?
I swear, this show is an absolute joke, and the voting public is running the franchise into the ground with their inane voting choices! Everyone else is trying hard, but PP just has to strum a guitar and look cute, and that keeps him safe? For real. Posted on May 3, , in American Idol. Bookmark the permalink. Very disappointing! Also frustrated!!!! I enjoyed reading your post hg. It is still a little painful to see that picture of David after he lost to Cook. Actually Chris Cornell did it first and a better version.
Yes — to everything you said and more HG! Ouch, that pic also hurts my stomach. UGH, it still hurts. David C. I wonder if David had won what kind of road he would be on at this time.
Yes, I wonder that too cq. Mama Holliday scared the tarnation out of me, and I loved it. Dim the lights, Kieran! Your new American Idol is…Phillip Phillips! Congrats, sir, and be thankful you got the first decent coronation single in Idol history. There really are no boundaries anymore. Proof that one voice can be more powerful than That said, who knew Skylar was so adept at group choreography?
E for effort, though! Grade: B-. Grade: B. And the Phillips-Fogerty chemistry definitely benefitted from having a warmup number, too. I find the voices of the various singers on The Voice more enjoyable than most of what I've heard on Idol all season.
Texastoyz , May 1, There were 8 performances this week, but I'm pretty sure that they eliminated 4 of them last night haven't watched that episode yet. They've basically been cutting the number of contestants remaining in half every week.
I think the worst thing about The Voice is Blake Shelton's ear. He seems like a nice enough guy, but he typically praises and chooses quirkiness even when the vocal talent is obviously lacking. I was mostly flabbergasted at his choices for his team this season. Location: Sacramento, Ca. Six String , May 2, Location: Dayton, OH. Location: Northern Kentucky. If there was any doubt who the best male singer is, tonight should've resolved that for everyone unless they're tone deaf. Joshua blew Phillip out of the water on both individual songs and on their duet.
Of the girls, all three did very good. Hollie actually had a consistently good night with both her songs. It was nice to see two CCR songs being performed, even though the judges kept saying Tina Turner on the one. Skylar did a great job with "Fortunate Son" and Jessica did a nice job with "Proud Mary," contrary to what Randy thought. Hard to predict who will be going home. Heck, it'll be hard to predict the bottom three.
